Highway Commissioner

In accordance with Wisconsin State Statute S. 83.01, Lafayette County is accepting applications for Highway Commissioner to a 3-year term beginning 1/1/2026, as elected by the Lafayette County Board. This is a regular full-time position with minimum starting pay of $46.74 per hour or $97,219.20 per year, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

About Us: The Highway Department's main duties are the construction and maintenance of all county roads, associated right-of-ways and bridges. Other duties include construction, improvement and operation of the highway department's grounds and facilities.
